Chicken Salad Chick in Lady Lake Selects Christian Food Pantry

The Chicken Salad Chick Foundation was created in the spring of 2014 by CSC founders, Kevin and Stacy Brown, following news of a devastating cancer diagnosis. Kevin valiantly fought stage IV colon cancer until he succumbed to the disease in November 2015. We miss him terribly but we are committed to continuing his legacy and his work in fighting cancer and feeding the hungry.

As part of our hunger initiative, participating Chicken Salad Chick locations will sell special coupon books during November and December. Guests will be able to redeem one coupon per month throughout 2017. We are excited to bring this idea to The Villages and donate the proceeds of the sales to the  Christian Food Pantry!

Summer at the Pantry

July is typically the busiest month for our pantry.  With children out of school and new families moving into the area, we are always very busy.  Thank you for your support of the food pantry, your help is greatly appreciated.  Please watch this short video to learn more about our ministry.

Happy New Year & Thank You!

We are thankful for God’s many blessings and angels like you carrying out his works. In December 2015, we assisted 406 families, 1107 individuals. Twenty-three new families registered.  11,711 individuals from 4313 local families were helped in 2015.   

 

Generosity abounds during the holiday season but unfortunately having sufficient money for groceries can be a year round problem for the poor.  We appreciate your interest in this ministry and consideration of a donation of food or funds.  As a ministry of North Lake Presbyterian Church, we are a 501C3 so your monetary donation is tax deductible and is used to purchase food distributed to our local families in need.
