If you donate to our pantry

Thank you for your continued support of our pantry!  You have always been amazing with donations of food and money donations but since March of 2020 when the pandemic first began we have been overwhelmed with your generosity.

The first quarter of the year is normally a slower pace for our food pantry.  Many of our clients receive tax refunds and with stimulus checks and extra SNAP funds this has held true even during the current pandemic.  The number of new clients from January to March was only 24 families.  We assisted a total of 675 families during this time representing 1644 individuals.

We continue to support The Villages Elementary School by supplying 111 students with weekend snack packs each week.  We will continue this support through the summer as well should the school offer a drive up lunch program as they did last summer.

Thank You For Your Overwhelming Support in 2020!

Open to serve clients and receive donations

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Closed Holidays

2020 was definitely a year of challenges for everyone. While we did reduce our hours of operation, we were not forced to close during the year due to the pandemic.  We were able to help just over 300 families a month along with providing The Villages Elementary School with 111 children with snack packs each week. We couldn't do this without your support.

We are so fortunate to live in a community where people truly care about one another.  The Christian Food Pantry was blessed by so many individuals, clubs, churches, civic groups and the community as a whole who donated food and money.  Many were very creative in their out reach.  Some held driveway concerts and asked neighbors to donate food or money if they were able, others held monthly food collections on their streets for the panty, several donated all or part of their stimulus checks, one group even held a Santa Con to benefit our pantry.  Without this support in addition to the financial support provided by North Lake Presbyterian Members the pantry could not provide the assistance needed to those local families who need our help. We cannot thank you enough and assure you that our clients appreciate the help given more than we can express.

In 2021 we are hoping to make some improvements to our pantry which will allow us to provide families with more fresh diary, produce and meat than we are able to provide now in addition to the non-perishable items we provide.

We wish you and yours a healthy and blessed New Year in 2021.
